Monkey Tales Games is a 3D video game series supporting children in primary school to learn mathematics through five exciting and fun video games with age-specific themes. In the games, a player has to solve 3D puzzles and is challenged by a monkey to take part in a mini maths game which the player has to win to get to the next level.
Level 7, created in 2010 by Careersbox (UK), is a modular job application and interview techniques film programme. Aimed at students who are preparing for the world of work, who are often confronted with a disconnect in what is expected by the commercial world and what resources are available to the education world, this project is meant to better prepare and inform young people around the expectations of an employer and supporting teachers.
The Merchant of Venice is an online multi-player game which helps students of Accountancy Studies to learn and practice double-entry bookkeeping in a fun way as players are Venetian merchants in the 15th Century, who have to earn money by trading with foreign countries and to build buildings with their earnings. The game even includes a virtual tax office giving feedback and penalties.
Les TIC en Classe is an interactive DVD, produced by the Ministry of Education in France, to motivate teachers to use ICT in the classroom. The DVD shows with concrete examples and situations the contribution and advantages of digital services and tools to learning, to show the actual activities of students and to encourage teachers to use the many accompanying documents (on the DVD or available online) and extend the use of ICT and examples shown in the videos.
Daisy and Drago is an entry by Miss. Özge Karaoğlu and Mrs. Havva Kangal Erdoğan, two teachers from the Terakki Foundation Schools in Istanbul, Turkey. It is an educational project which was created by 6-year old Turkish pupils and aims to entertain young learners while they learn a foreign language and help to build permanent learning in English.
