On 11 February 2010, MEDEA presented the MEDEA Showcases with user generated online video (UGOV) at a WEBstroom meeting about the topic. WEBstroom is a Special Interest Group of the Dutch SURFfoundation that focuses on streaming media in higher education.
Some of the highlights of this February issue are an article about BaKaFORUM 2010 and the future of educational broadcasters, a feature on the MEDEA Special Jury Award Winner 2009: Eyes on the Skies from Germany, an introduction to our Czech contact point and information about various festivals related to the use of media aimed at the education and training sector.
