Anti-Anti

Anti-Anti is a multimedia supported pervasive game that was created by secondary school students of the Sint-Lievenscollege Gent (Belgium) to sensitise students for a national day against useless violence. Students participating in this 50 minute game had to search a fictitious murderer in their school through clues provided in mp3-files and video clips.

Monkey Labs, a series of educational video games, was developed in 2009 by game studio Larian Studios and educational book publisher die Keure (Belgium). Monkey Labs I, the first in this series, is a 3D videogame in which students have to solve various mathematics challenges. Following an intriguing narrative, the student/player sees a seemingly abandoned research complex and it is up to the player to unveil the mysteries within, and save the monkeys and scientists that are locked up inside this place of surprises and plot-twists.
Canal Educatif is a collaborative web platform that offers a series of free and innovative educational videos connected to the high school level curriculum. Targeted at teachers, students and families, it is intended for after-school work by students, for use during class time and to foster discussion between different generations.
Studiecoach is a free online resource for study advice or digital coach and was created by the Dutch Open University which is specialised in higher education for adult students through supported distance learning. Studying in distance learning requires new and different study methods from the traditional classroom learning; in distance education there are fewer contact hours and there is more self-study which requires more self-discipline.
The European Chain Reaction is a science/art project and competition which challenges primary schools across Europe to create, film and upload a "Rube-Goldberg/Robert Storm Petersen-like" chain reaction. Through the contest, children learn more about science and computers in a fun way and in the end all submitted chain videos are merged into a big cross-border European chain reaction.
The documentary ‘Werner Heisenberg’ is about a German scientist who developed the quantum physics theory and is known for the ‘Heisenberg uncertainty principle’. It recognises the impact of quantum mechanics on our daily lives and the related philosophical questions.
